Wedding Day

August 28, 2008! The day went off without a hitch...well we got hitched :) Everything was amazing, and I couldn't of asked for better weather. After all the work and stress involved I actually was sad to see it all come to an end :( My party was over, but my life with my hubby has just begun and to date my life is complete.

Ha, ha! My fiance and I are looking for one in the New York area. I don't know why, but I am not the slightest bit nervous about this. I think it will be a very liberating experience...now if I can just put my "people watching" aside. After the experience, I'll keep you posted.

5 Blessings

Health, Wealth, Happiness, Fertility, and Longevity. These are the five blessings I have found out recently are represented by those sugarcoated almonds one finds at weddings. To be honest, I never knew this and don't really like almonds that way. Since I am getting married one comes accross these tid-bits of information on the numerous sites found on the web. My soon to be be sister in law asked me if I was having them at wedding, my first reaction was no. Now that I know what they mean, of course they will be there tucked away in the favor to bless my new life with my husband. Yesterday, while my fiance headed off to the Yankee game I went to an art's and crafts store. I picked up some beads, leather cord, and a magazine on knotting. I have wanted to try my hand at making jewelry for a little while now. Quite by accident, I designed a pendant. Five circles, one large one, and stacked on top four smaller ones. Then it hit me, this is the five blessings necklace! I affectionately call it the B5, so coming soon check it out at www.5blessings.net, and blessings to you all~

So, for the first time in my life my Mother has written to me! Long story short, I recenlty found her, she left my father when I was young, 2 years or so. I have a sister too, different fathers! I have taken to her quite quickly. She lives in Wales with her husband and hounds. I will need to take a trip soon to meet her. I am getting married, she is pregnant so late next year sometime. The card my mother sent me was quite interesting, and the print of Bonnie (artist Sara Singh) very much looks like me. My fiance Joe thinks so. What do you think??

Wedding Countdown

All is almost in place for our Late Summer Wedding (8/28/08)! I am getting more and more excited as the weeks seem to be flying by. I know the day will be here and gone in a flash, so I am making sure to enjoy the planning as much as possible. I know it can be stressful, budgets, guest lists (who to invite, who to cut), but at end of the day, and hopefully for the rest of our lives we will look back and know we did the best we could to make the day as special and memorable for us and our loved ones. Not everyone one will be there in body, but they will surely be there in spirit!
